about me
Art is an essential part of who I am. I’ve known that for as long as I can remember, even during the seasons when I tried to ignore it. It took me time to realize it’s not only okay to be different, but that my way of seeing the world is something worth leaning into. That’s what I hope to share through my work.
I grew up in Washington State, where my parents made sure I was outside exploring, hiking, surfing, and watching the sky shift. I’ve always found art in everything around me. The trees have faces, the leaves wave until they’re tired, and I’ve always thought the sun must cry, hanging out all alone in the sky all day.
After high school, I moved to the island of Kauai to serve in the Coast Guard. I was a fish out of water, but I persevered, grew, and came out stronger. I was lucky enough to meet my husband there, and eventually, after retiring from the Coast Guard, we returned to Washington, where we’re now raising our beautiful daughter.
I’m currently studying Fashion Product Development and following a path that once felt far out of reach. I'm excited to merge my love of art and fashion, to create meaningful pieces and share them with others. I’m forever learning, making, and adding to my list of hobbies.
Lark House Collective is where it all comes together.
